about the school

On September 20, 2017, Hurricane María crashed through the Caribbean causing catastrophic damage to Puerto Rico.  The Southeastern Victory church and school suffered severe damage. The buildings were severely affected, and they lost their temple!

They signed a building contract for $1 with the municipal government, to use the school: Escuela Segundo Ruíz Belvis.  The building had been closed since 2015 and with the help of the church members and Gus and Becky Ramirez, who visited in May 2018, they were able to fix and prepare the facilities to move the college into the new facility.  The school has capacity to enroll approximately 400 students and from 37 students in 2018, they now have enrolled 215 students. After two years of good stewardship, the government gave the property completely free to the church and school.
